George Jack for Morris & Co., attributed

An exceptional Arts and Crafts quarter-sawn oak library table/double desk, with a rectangular top and shaped sides united by a floor stretcher with moulded details.

Each side with highly skilled carving of floral wheat sheaf and seed decoration. Each carved side with subtle floral differences. Wonderful original condition.

Circa 1890. Measures 21" across between the legs.
