Howell and James in the style of Lewis Foreman Day
A small Aesthetic Movement walnut mantle clock with brass finials and brass feet, with a pierced gallery to the top centred with a fan decoration. Subtle floral carving below is repeated in the lower section. The circular blue and white dial, with hand-painted numerals and hand-painted daffodils, has inset brass plates with further floral decorations and is flanked by columns with brass collets to the centres, with a Japanese fretwork panel to the base.
