A fine mahogany glazed breakfront bookcase designed by George Jack, of exceptional quality typical of all Morris & Co. furniture.
The bookcase has upper and lower central glazed sections, both flanked by open semi-serpentine corner shelves, with a central drawer and petite brass and gilded drop handles.
Stamped Morris & Co., 449 Oxford St W and numbered 1169.
