A large Gothic Revival oak blanket chest or linen trunk

With deeply carved linenfold decoration to the lift-up lid and to all four sides. Each linenfold panel is framed with half-concave moulded details with bird's-beak ends to each of the four corners and further concave mouldings to the main body of the trunk.
