This Art Deco mottled pink glass shade dates from around 1930 and exemplifies the restrained geometry of early Art Deco period (1919–1939) glass design. The hand-blown glass features a mottled surface pattern with pale rose and opaline diffusion that softens transmitted light. Its cylindrical form, measuring 20 cm (7.9 in) high and 10.8 cm (4.25 in) in diameter, reflects the movement’s emphasis on proportion and material clarity.
The shade fits a standard bulb holder.
