LT 52 - A Birmingham Guild of Handicraft silver plated table lamp by A.S.Dixon. Height 13" to where the lamp holder pivots with the scrolled wing nut, Width 10 1/2" across the flats at the feet & one foot has an original piercing so one can also hang it from the wall on a nail or hook. Circa 1895. £POA.
This table lamp has all the traits of Dixon, his domed shaped foot as shown in the last but 2 images identical to the brass foot of a Dixon 3 leg bowl which was exhibited at Blackwell, his famous rat tail (twinned as in tension screw for the swivel adjustment just below the socket end).
