DC - A stunning Royal Doulton Jardinière & stand probably by Martin Harradine. This is a very rare piece indeed because it would have been very expensive when it was made & only the very wealthy could afford something so monumental & then of course there is the fact that many would have been damaged or separated from each other over the years so it again becomes rarer still. I have seen smaller planters & the odd vase occasionally in the same pattern but never as wonderful & monumental as this. It has 2 small chips which don't effect it's value because of what it is. Height 49", the top of the bowl is 14" across. Circa 1900. £SOLD.
