A Cast Iron 'OWL' Garden Bench in the Style of Dr C Dresser by Falkirk Ironworks

SOLD

Cast iron 'OWL' garden bench in the style of Christopher Dresser by Falkirk ironwork's, with fantastic double sided Owl's to each end, pierced qua trefoils with swirling floral details below and a semi-circle with stylized floral detail within a rectangle, three identical panels to the back rest. Made by Falkirk Iron Foundry with original patented design sketch dated 13/06/1876. The first image shows it before I have had it restored. I have recently had this stripped of paint and rust and had it professionally painted for outside use in a period Victorian green. It is dismantled and ready for shipping and it would save on shipping costs if the slats were made after it has been delivered. It can be made longer or shorter than the measurements stated if required. Requires new back and seat slats, they can be made to the length of your choice.. The Victorian green paint could easily be over painted to a colour of your choice.
