An Aesthetic Movement Davenport with a brass gallery to the back and an inkwell and pen compartment below, a recent leather to the lift up slope with a bank of four drawers to the right side and a slide to the left side and a central lower panel with a carved rosette within a carved square flanked by turned supports and extended front feet.

This Davenport corresponds exactly to Talbert furniture designed for the Midland Grand Hotel at St Pancras made by Gillow.
